This is one of the best purchases I have made for fishing in quite some time. I have owned it for over a year now and it still appears in mint condition. I spend over 100 days on the water, mainly the rivers here in Michigan and it has held up great. There is plenty of room for fly boxes, tippets, tools, anything you could need should fit in here. I even shut the thing in the door of my truck accidentally and dragged the straps over 6 miles down dirt roads. You can barely tell. It's also an incredibly less expensive alternative to the fishpond packs. This pack is amazing, absolutely perfect.

So far I love this Chest Pack. It comes with two straps a short one to wear around your neck hense chest pack. and a long one which I use over my sholder and under my arm and it becomes a back pack which I just pull around to the front and open up. this way all my gear it out of the way for fishing but close at hand for use.............Plenty of Storage room etc.

This is my first chest style pack and I LOVE it. I have used it at least 15 times since buying it 2 months ago and really like it. Its been tossed on the ground, completely submerged for an hour on the float tube, it dried very quickly and still looks brand new.
There is plenty of storage for 2-3 larger fly boxes along with all of your accessories. I love the little tabs and loops near the front/bottom sides to attach, tippet, etc. but especially because I can put my pliers on a lanyard, but still tuck it into the loop to keep it from snagging my line. Seems simple, but once I figured out to do that it helped a lot. I also like that it comes with 2 sizes of neck straps because I generally sling it over my side and carry it on my left hip to keep it out of the way when casting.
The only thing I am having a hard time getting used to it trying to cast with it on my chest when wading, but this would be true for any chest pack. It seems to be in the way on my chest and I much prefer it slung over the shoulder and on the hip if possible.
Overall A+ and would never spend 2x the price for a different named brand.

This is one of the best purchases that i have made with Bass Pro Shop. I love it. Great for fishing in the river, everything is in front of you and you can get to it fast.

Don't know. I assume that Bass Pro would handle any problems that might arise. However, I don't see this product failing unless I drop it in a wood chipper.Answers

The zippers themselves are metal, yes. But as long as you take a few minutes after each saltwater outing to rinse it well, it should last you a long time.

No metal zippers or anything else metal. The zippers are super hard plastic as are the pull tabs. Its a great pack.1 of 1
