These keep fish cool when you wet the outside. Easy to clean.

The creel is great. It works very well. I use it when fly fishing on rivers and streams in NY. Like other reviewers I wish it had at least one compartment to store additional gear.

OVER THE YEARS I HAVE HAD CREELS THAT WERE OK AND CREELS THAT WERE, WHY DID I BUY THAT. ANYHOW THIS CANVAS CREEL IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. I REALLY LIKE THAT THE ENTERIOR IS INSULATED, KEEPING THE FISH COOLER THAN OTHER CREELS I HAVE OWNED. THE ADJUSTABLE SHOULDER STRAP IS LONG ENOUGH FOR THE TALLEST PERSON. UNLIKE MANY OTHERS. THE VELCRO AND BUCKLE CLOSURE IS GREAT. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUT JUMP OUT. THE ONLY THING THIS CREEL LACKS IS AN EXTERIOR STORAGE POCKET..I WOULD BUY ANOTHER IN THE FUTURE.. THANKS FOR A GREAT CREEL

The creel has a snap and velcro. You do not have to snap and unsnap it every time as it has velcro. If you are fishing for feisty fish, like some of the trout I used it for, it was nice to have the additional quick release buckle.Images for this Answer
