the BPS's wading staff is very good and notd real expensive, but does not haVE A MECHAnism to hold the pieces together when they get stuck in mud or other material. But once removed the pieces easily join togdether again.

Purchased this staff in Tulsa store following a back injury. Needed a "rubber base" to grasp walking surfaces. The store employee was skilled a finding standard "cane base" to cover the pointed one. I was able to have stability in surf with the converted tip. It has endured the salt water well. Fine product -- hope they make a rubber tip for it soon.

I've only used it wading once, but it is sturdy. Fits together easily and well. Nice handle. Good price.

Well worth the money. I have owned more expensive wading staffs that function no better than this product. Sections pop into place upon removal from pouch quicker and fold back up with ease.
