Some things never go out of style—like our finely crafted White River Fly Shops® Classic Series Fly Rods. It’s been one of America’s favorites for years, and the reason why is clear. Smooth and strong, the medium-fast IM7 blanks are fitted with A grade cork and premium guide sets that you just won’t find on other rods at this price level. There’s a rod here for everyone, whether you chase small stream brookies or stripers in the surf. Rod sock and tube are included.

This design of the White River Fly Shop® Classic LA Fly Reel utilizes the best elements of a large arbor chassis, while still providing generous backing capacity for traditional Dacron® braids. The rugged frame and spool are forged and machined rather than die-cast, for optimum rigidity. The in-line multi disk drag is enhanced by a one-way roller bearing, and features a precise 720 degree range of adjustment.

The Outfit includes Classic Fly Rod, Classic LA (Large Arbor) fly reel, CV2 weight-forward line, backing, and leader.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My first fly rod This white river classic fly rod/reel is a real good combo. The rod bends nicely and allows my fly line to fit though the guides. Next up is the fly reel its drag is amazing I can't say any other thing about it. The only disadvantage about it is that when it gets wet its vibrates and makes a wierd sound but once its dry its ready to go! Heres a monster I caught on the rod March 20, 2013
