Very difficult to get a thread through. Almost worthless. Very disappointed. Thought the tube must be clogged so cleared it with a paper clip and the ceramic beads came off. This tool looks nice but is not well made.

I bought one, took it home, tried to load a spool - couldn't get the wire through the ceramic tip. Under a magnifying glass could clearly see there was no opening in the ceramic end - either end!
So I drove 22 miles back to BP and they told me to pick another from the display rack as an exchange - simple, right? Five out of the six on the rack were clogged - the sixth was open
It works OK, but before you leave BP, make sure the one you picked is open.
