Rated 5 out of 5 by Great beginner set I'm a beginner at using flies to fish...and I use these on an UL spinning set up. These worked well, in particular the woolly buggers get hit a lot and the ants are just fun to watch get destroyed on the surface. Overall I'm glad I got this as a starter set, I have a better idea of what to focus on in my area now (princes, caddis, wooly bugger, hares ears) Also these arent only good for trout, I love to fish for crappie/bluegill with these...they take them almost as much as live bait, guess flies are closer to the real thing then tubes/grubs December 20, 2011

Not many trout in the lakes in streams by me but some of the patterns in the kit have worked for anything from bluegill to bass. Overall I have had alot of luck with these flys, Great buy for the money! Thanks bass pro August 30, 2010
