While the Wheeler® Professional Scope Mounting Kit might be overkill for the person than only owns one scoped firearm, it certainly has merit of ownership if you happen to own several scoped firearms.
Ease of use make this an ideal item for that person that wants to get the most accuracy out of their firearm. The hardware is top quality and equally functional.
I was particularly impressed with the F.A.T. Wrench Torque screwdriver, a great substitue for the inch/pound torque wrench that I normally use.
Did I mention the alignment bars? Makes easy work of getting the scope rings aligned to each other too.
The instructional video and printed matter guide the novice through the steps of scope mounting and alignment with the greatest to ease.
Now back to checking another rifle to see that the scope.
Oh, don't forget to use the Level Level levels to vertically align the scope crosshairs to the rifle? This is very important, it to is explained in the instructions.

I am sure happy with the scope mounting kit, it sure makes mounting easier and takes the guess work out of inch lbs. I have used it to remount all my scopes and ensure the scope is mounted right.

This kit works very well. I found scopes that I had mounted in the past that were not aligned properly when I redid them using this kit. The kit works well for removing irregularities in the rings when lapping in and greatly improves contact surface area of scope and rings. It has also been hard to level my scope to the firearm in the past but this kit removes all the guess work. The torque wrench is another part of the kit that I like as it also removes the possibility of stripped and wrecked screws. Any one that enjoys maintaining their own firearms will like this kit.
