The size (length) is good for my son. He runs around with his guns so this one is not too long.He can run and not trip over it. He is happy with this gun but it does not work shooting the bullets it came with. which is fine for us because we were not looking for one that shoot out objects. But of course he found the rubber cap & pulled it off and found the bullets. So for us the gun works. We were just looking for a gun that isnt plastic. He has had 50+ plastic guns that break the first day or so. I gave it 3 stars since it doesnt work and it wont even load and hold the bullets.

These are absolutely the worst! I ordered three for our school carnival. All three, right out of the box - not a one would work. My husband fiddled with one and could get it to shoot and it was a joke. Terrible product, Bass Pro Shops should dump this product. Calling for a return number tomorrow.

We were very excited to receive the toy gun for our 7 year old sons birthday. The gun came with 5 very small bullets in the gun and when you loaded them all but one shot out then within 24 hrs the guns pressure was so low the bullets would barely come at all and the extra bullets we bought to go with the toy gun did not even fit that type of gun. Very sad that I paid so much.
