Haven't really put this lanyard to use, but it has all the bells and whistles for a functional lanyard. Hopefully this will take some weight off an already over-weighted vest and I can eventually move to a waist pack.

This is a great product for fly fishermen who like items within reach instead of having to dig through your vest or pack all the time. The neoprene neck strap is comfortable and the clip that hooks to your shirt or vest keeps it out of the way and from dangling.
I also use it when I fish worms for small mountain trout. I can keep every tool I need around my neck and keep my pack at home.

I fish for bluegill, Big Bluegill. This neck lanyard holds all my most used tools, right at my finger tips .Scissor forceps, knot tyer, sinker dispenser, magnetic hook holder, tippet threader and tippet spools. It is comfortable and light weight on my neck, and most importantly comfort wise, NOT HOT!
I tried a rather expensive fly vest for the same purpose. Too many pockets loaded with weighty things I rarely used and had to search the pockets for if I did want something. The vest was light and made with air weave. When loaded and on the water, it was heavy and HOT. My vest now hangs at home, while I barely know my tools are around my neck till I reach for them.
My West Fork Fly Fishing Lanyard is well made, well thought out and just the ticket for the tools I actually use while fishing. Just bought another with all the afore mentioned tools for my grandson. Great gift! Don't forget the tools while shopping.

Works great. The weather has been warm and with the lanyard i do not have to wear the vest.
