I thought I was ordering a tactical type mount that would allow me to mount my Red Dot scope to my 835 in various places along the mount. What I got was a standard Weaver Style base with slots only at the ends. It is a good quality base but not what I was expecting. The bad part is that this base is made for my 835. The holes won't match up for other weapons. For the price its not worth returning. The shipping would cost almost what I paid for the base. I just modified my Millet Saddle Mount by replacing the cheesey screws that came with it. They bent after several rounds while sighting in and couldn't handle the recoil of the turkey loads.

I bought this mount for my handi rifle in .45-70 fits well looks good on the gun hasn't come loose yet ur I always put loc-tite on all my bases anyway good mount for the money

I want to mount a 50 mm scope to my old Rem.760..Will the high standard Weaver rings be tall enough? Also.I don't see Rem.760 in the base selection section...which base should I use....thanx in advance....ChasAnswers

The Remington 760 requires base item number 38-668-955-71. Rings should be purchased in a minimum of high, 38-882-124-07.Details:Â
My rifle is a sako L46 it has dove tail type mount on top of the rifle but they are tapered . The front mount starts out wide then tapers down to the rear mount ends up to only about an 1/2 inch.Then my new scope is a bushnell yardage pro 20-4124 scope rings can not be used. The bottom of this scope has a weaver type rail on it. Also the rifle has not been drilled and would like to keep it that way.
