Weaver Detachable Top-Mount Rings
Good, not great, scope rings
I have used these rings successfully for years on two Savage bolt-action rifles in .270Win and .30-06. They have done a good job keeping normal sized 3x9 scopes secure. I haven't removed and remounted the scopes so I can't comment on how they return to zero after removing them from the bases. The only problem I've run into with these rings is when I used them to mount a 2x pistol scope on a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 magnum revolver. The "hook" side of the top-strap shifted forward under recoil twisting the ring and putting the scope in a bind. I am now using Weaver's Sure- Grip rings that have screws on both sides to prevent ring twist. Hopefully they will handle the recoil forces of a .44 handgun,

I have had these rings on my Remington 700 muzzleloader for about 10 years now and they have never let me down. Muzzleloaders are tough on scopes and rings and this is a testament to the quality of these rings. Kudos to Weaver!

Weaver® Detachable Top-Mount Rings
These rings work exactly as they were ment to. They were easy to install and fit perfect on the scope. If you own a rifle with iron sights and are looking for some over-under rings, you can't go wrong with these.
