I only needed to replace a hose for my wash down pump. This looked like a great way to replace the hose and have a nice place to store it.
First- the hose is a cheap made hose. It kinks really easy. The lid that screws on fits really tight and is very difficult to open and close. It really is a great concept but for the money do not buy it. The tube the hose fits in is to small and you need to work at putting the hose back in. When I am fising this is not good, I am busy fishing! Since I had already mounted it in the stern of the boat by the battery compartment, I just cut the main tube and put a 4" to 6" adapter on it and it works great for my need. I fixed my old hose and threw the one I got with the kit away.

I really just needed to replace a hose that had a hole in it but decided to go this route to get the hose out of the way, it is a great idea but this product is not worth $10.00. The hose is cheap and kinks and the nozzle won't shut completely off and the lid is very hard to get on and off. I am going to return this. I just wish it was a better quality product I would love to keep it.

I have one on My 22 ft offshore boat . Works good . I got 5 good years of service before having to replace it due to dry rot.

bought this hose to replace an existing one that had a hole in it. Has quick disconnect, installs easy, easy fix
