Rated 5 out of 5 Awesome lure I bought a War Eagle spinnerbail at the end of last year to try them out. They worked so well that I bought a bunch more for this season. I probably caught more quality bass with War Eagle spinnerbaits than with any other lure. I'll be sure to have a good stock of them for as long as I'm able to fish. July 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best night spinner bait made Will out fish any other night made. Have caught several bass in the 4lb range on these baits of the past three years. June 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Night Spinnerbait Whenever I go fishing at night, I always have one of these tied on... They catch every species of bass... Smallmouth, Largemouth, Spot, and even Catfish. This is a great bait that will catch you tons of fish. March 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by War Eagle Spinnerbaits If want to catch fish I would tie one on. There are great night blades. The only bad thing they bend easily, those spotted bass will straightem out. I have fished alot of different brands but I keep going back to War Eagle Spinnerbaits. Now the only night blade I use July 20, 2011

A:
Because the wire used is made to transmit vibration they will require tunning after a big fish, but have yet to break one.

I don't have much experience with fish of that size but I can tell you that it works very well on bass. I live just minutes from Lake Fork and have used this bait to catch fish up to 9 pounds and I have never had one fail like other spinnerbaits. War Eagle puts out quality fishing lures and I would bet that these will work on Murray Cod as well.

No, this wouldn’t stand a chance against 60 pound + cod. You will want to look in our Musky/Salmon Lure Section under Freshwater Fishing.
