This is the only buzzbait I use. I use mouse in 1/4 for creeks, and white in 3/8 for lakes. Work best in spring through early summer or all the way through summer at night.

If your not catching and on buzzbaits then throw on the black wareagle buzzbait. It seems like that color works best for me. You only really need 2 colors black and white.

I have tried these buzzbiats multiple times and always have the same results. If you throw this buzzbait all day long, the blade will break right by the bend and keeper collar. The blade material that loops over the shaft on the backside is extremely thin and wears through. On the other side of the coin...I agree that these buzzbaits run great in the water, and catch fish, but who wants to pay for bait that only last a day, when other baits on the market you can fish many days without wearing them out. Usually, you lose a bait before it wears out. Again, this isn't a one time shot...I'll bet I've burned through at least 6 of these baits, just hoping that I just bought a bad one, and they've all failed in the same spot. I definitely wouldn't buy these until War Eagle fixes their design flaw.

Purchased two 3/8 black buzzbaits. Both baits had blades which did not turn freely. With some tinkering and as they were used blades got on tract. Bait rode nice in the water. I also purchased a 1/4 oz which ran fine right out of the package.
