They won't last one complete day...
I have tried these buzzbiats multiple times and always have the same results. If you throw this buzzbait all day long, the blade will break right by the bend and keeper collar. The blade material that loops over the shaft on the backside is extremely thin and wears through. On the other side of the coin...I agree that these buzzbaits run great in the water, and catch fish, but who wants to pay for bait that only last a day, when other baits on the market you can fish many days without wearing them out. Usually, you lose a bait before it wears out. Again, this isn't a one time shot...I'll bet I've burned through at least 6 of these baits, just hoping that I just bought a bad one, and they've all failed in the same spot. I definitely wouldn't buy these until War Eagle fixes their design flaw.

I picked up one of the "Mouse" colored buzzbaits. Its unique coloring makes it an absolute killer. It resembles a swimming mouse, a fledgling bird, or a dying baitfish when in the water.
I found that adding a floating trailer grub in grey added tot he action and gave them something to bite onto. I used Yamomoto hula grubs in a 2 inch size.
Give 'em a shot, you won't be sorry.

War Eagle has made some pretty good products and the buzz bait is certainly up there. My favorite color is easily the black and add a trailer hook and you have a fish catcher. The durability isnt spectacular but I've been able to bend it back into place after getting bent on a fish. It doesnt take too much winding to get the bait up on the water and to keep it there.
