I have had my PPK/S for about 6 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have put over 500 rounds through it both factory and reloads and have not had a single issue. I stoke it with Hornady "Critcal Defense" rounds for daily carry and have every confidence that it will do what I need it to do, if necessary. Only complaint is, being over 60 and have arthritic hands, that the recoil spring is rather heavy and hard to rack a round into the chamber. That and the left grip split at the screw escutcheon first time out of the box. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Nope, Walther did not want to spend the extra time to re-up all the stuff for California. You can buy it used, but not new.PS- I work behind the gun counter at the Manteca store. So I've def tried to get this gun.
