Rated 1 out of 5 by PieceOfJunk Do Not Buy!!!
I got to use this pistol 3 times before it disintegrated in my hand. I thought I had made a great purchase after the first use, then on the second a piece broke off of the gun, I was able to fix it and I used it one more time without any problems. The next time I went to shoot with it I pulled back the cocking mechanism and when I released it the gun fell apart into a bunch of pieces. I was unable to find all of the pieces to repair it. I do not recommend this pistol for anyone, it is a piece of junk!!!

This is not a good made product even for the amount I paid for it. It's more like a cheap toy that tears up before you make it home. Should have checked on others before purchasing TWO of these things.

I added in the comments as to if the compensator really works. I find the pistol no louder than your toaster popping when its done. The compensator dose hush the snap of the bolt a bit. But the sound is relativity the same...Answers

Its a single, manual cocking pistol. You cock the slider back, and shot one bb. Then repeat. The advantages to this over the electric semi autos, is the speed it shoots. 300 fps is an achievement in my book.Answers

a compensator (or as it should be called a suppresser) muffles the shot so it is not as loud and for this gun for some reason it improves the accuracy. there really is no difference between the walther p99 and the p22Top 1000 Contributor

The silencer does not do much butt improve the accurcay and look cool!Details:

From my experience with the pistol.... i found the silencer worthless. I hacked off the silencer mount and use it without it. I bought the silenced model as there was the interchangeable grip and extra bbs. However, i didn't know at the time the silencer didn't do much. Did quiet the snap of the pistol a bit, but dose that really matter with something thats no louder than a toaster popping? I found no advantages to it...A:
I bought one it is nice it does make it quiter but i think it less accurite but its cool.Answers
A:
yes they are really that bad because when i opened mine it didnt shoot it came brokenA:
No this is a really nice gun. I used the one without the mock suppressor and it is pretty accurate in battle. If the slide won't to forward then hit the slide release on the right side of the gun.A:
it is a sweet gun i haven't had no problems yet knock on woodA:
