Walker's Game Ear® Hybrid Duo Hearing Enhancement Aid
I have had some hearing loss and was looking for a product to help with hearing while deer and hog hunting. The Walker's Game Ear has been great. I use it on a daily bases when I want clearer hearing. My wife loves for me to use it. She says she doesn't have to repeat near as often. My only complaint would be the short battery life. I understand from others that this is a problem with all hearing devices. The Game Ear does have a very audible beeping when the battery is low.

Could Hear Leaf Hit the Ground
Used these for the first time this season, dove hunting and then deer hunting. Worked as advertised. If I turned up the volume I could hear a leaf hit the ground - though I wouldn't recommend hunting like this or you'll be looking for your own shadow. They come with two sets of batteriers and two different packages of the snap on foam tips that cover the end that goes in your ear canal - vented and non-vented (each with small, med and large sizes). For the noise reduction feature you need to use the non-vented tips (solid, circular shaped foam tip). Replacement tips can be ordered via a link from Walkers web site. A pack of ten replacement tips will cost you $15. You do not need to replace these tips all that often. How often will depend on how much ear wax you have and how much accumulates on the foam tips. I've used these approximately 16 days in the field. I've replaced the foam tips once (after about 10 days of use). The batteries lasted about 8 days (you can buy replacement batteries at any drug store that sells common hearing aid batteries - size 10). You should store them with the battery compartment open so the unit is not "operating" when you are not wearing them - there is no On/Off switch. Directions say to turn volume knob all the way down, but I didn't want to leave the battery in contact so I stored them with the compartment open. You can download a PDF of the instructions from the Walker's web site before you buy these. I can't comment on the value for the money or compare them to behind the ear models as these are the first pair of hearing enhancement/ noise reduction units I've owned. I wear tinted shooting glasses so I didn't want to mess with a behind the ear model.

IM FROM SPRINGFIELD MO I GO THERE WHEN IM ON LEAVE MY DAUGHTER LOVES BSPRO ANYWAY IVE BEEN IN THE ARMY FOR 4 YEARS IVE BEEN TO IRAQ JUST GOT BAK I DID ROUTE CLEARANCE IN BAGDAD IM A COMBAT ENGINEER ANYWAY MY NET DEPLOYMENT IS MARCH AND MY UNIT IS DOING DISMOUNTED OPS IN THE MOUTAINS I WAS WONDERING IF THESE HEARING AIDS WOULD WORK FOR PATROLLING AND WHATBATTERIES DO THEY TAKE AND HOW ARE THEY WORK UNDER A VARY LOUD NOISE ENVIORMENT AND SINCETHEY ARE DIGITAL DO THEY WORK WITH THE DUKE SYSTEM
foremost, thanks for what you do for our country and specifically my family. I am not familiar with the duke system, but for the price i would give them a shot. I guess-timate that battery life is about 12-14 hours. I will look to see that the numbers on the battery are ... it comes with 3 pair i think. Wind noise is bad, but place a small piece of duct or cloth tape over the sound entry hole. Thanks again and be safe
I see this question was posted before about 6 months ago but the question has not been answered. You show two aids with multiple colors so I assume as a pair. It would be nice to get it as a paired package.
