Mini-logs provide longer cooking times than wood chunks for larger grills and smokers, while delivering the same true wood smoke flavor. Approximately 3-4'' in diameter and 5-10'' in length, mini-logs can be used in place of charcoal or with charcoal when a larger fire is needed. Cleaner than charcoal, these hardwood logs produce only 2% residual ash compared to the 18-28% ash you get with charcoal. All mini-logs are kiln dried to ensure consistent performance from every bag. Each bag contains 1.5 cubic feet of wood. Offered in a variety of wood choices so you can try a new flavor every night or mix woods for a unique blend of flavors. Made in USA. bought these to smoke a 6lb pork butt these logs last a long time an didn't even use half a bag unlike chunks that seem to burn very fast great for 14 hour smoking an has great flavor

I USE THE MESQUITE MINI LOGS WHENEVER I USE MY SMOKER FOR A RICH SMOKE FLAVOR WITH MY RIBS PORK AND TRI TIP WITH GREAT RESULTS EVERY TIME THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE IN STOCK ALL YEAR AROUND

Cant go wrong with Mesquite....This type of wood burns hot,and smokes heavy, excellent for larger cuts of beef..Its flavor is distinct,sweet, and smoky.......
