Effortlessly shrug off problems on the hunt with recoil, moisture, and low light by putting one of Vortex®'s Viper® Rifle Scopes on top of your hunting rifle! The Viper's premium, fully multicoated optics deliver up to 95% light transmission to give you a clear, bright view. Extra-low dispersion (XD) glass lenses boost resolution and color fidelity for crisp, sharp images. ArmorTek scratch-resistant coating on the exterior lenses protects against scratches, oil, and dirt. Precision Force spring systems ensure trustworthy repeatability while the Precision Glide erector system provides smooth magnification adjustment and change through the harshest conditions. Made of aircraft-grade aluminum with o-ring seals, the strong, single-piece body design maximizes alignment for optimized accuracy and view. Argon gas purged for fog- and waterproof performance. Easily accessible while in the shooting position, the Viper's side parallax knob helps you set the optimal image focus and remove parallax, while keeping range numbers visible. Tall capped turrets allow quick 1/4 MOA field adjustments. Second focal plane reticles maintain their scale as you change magnifications to match the situation, keeping listed reticle subtensions used for estimating range, holdover and wind drift correction accurate. Dead-Hold® BDC reticle models feature subtension marks measured in MOA to help eliminate guesswork on holdover and windage corrections.

WOW What a scope I bought a rifle for long range hunting behind my new acreage because my old Remington 30-06 with Bushnell scope was not good enough for 200 plus yard shots...don't ask how I know this. I picked up a Savage model 10 .308 caliber c/w Vortex 6.5-20x50 Mil dot scope. Two whitetails so far at 200 yards dead, both through the lungs in first three days hunting shots were within 1" of each other (two deer hanging in the shop)...enough said....freezer has meat...could not be happier. I've shot close to a hundred animals in my days and this scope is by far the best I've ever used. The Remington is now my green bush gun only. November 15, 2014
Stays clear My friend and I hunt in northern saskatchewan canada where in deer season it can be -30 C. I had just bought a new TC 300 win mag with a new viper scope as my first vortex product and he was shooting a T3 7mm with a zeiss conquest scope. We were walking into our favorite hunting spot and saw some deer. I told him he could shoot as I had got the bigger elk that year. But as he went to shoot, his scope was fogged so I dropped down and took the nice buck as mine was clear as a bell. I payed 1/3 the price and have buck on my wall! I have since put vortex scopes on all my rifles.  Bang for your buck by far the best products I've ever used.   December 30, 2013
Great Scope!!! For the money, cannot go wrong with this scope. Dad is a huge Leupold fan and after seeing mine, I made a believer out of him. January 4, 2015
Reliable, dependable, fair I bought this scope about a year ago, with pretty exact specifications of what I wanted my scope to do. I bought this scope after months of research on good scopes at a fair price. (normal buyer range) I bought this to shoot coyotes at are fram where 600 yards is about max range. On my 22-250 this is no longer a problem. The scope came back to prefect zero no matter how much I would ajust. The glass is by far one of the best in its price range. And to top it off it's back by Vortex VIP warranty. After ordering my scope from Vortex and dealing with the great people who work their I am definitely  recommending Vortex optics.  November 7, 2013
