Ive been saving up for this for a long time, and it has been worth the wait! This thing is built tough, reliable as heck, and holds a zero better than any other red dot I've used. Ever. The 3 mil dot version I have is perfect for me at both short and long ranges. I love it, and the warranty is the best in the business and sold me on the optic by itself.

I bought this Red Dot a few months ago, not sure how this little guy would work. I'm used to Aimpoints and Eotechs. Top of the line Red Dots. When I put this little guy on my AR I had to remove an Aimpoint to try it out. WOW! Did this little go show me what awesomeness can happy in such a little package!!!! Not only do I love this little guy, I love it more so than my other high end optics! Why? Size. Smaller, lighter, yet still an amazing presence!!! I ran it through some training, rolling around in a quarry for two days, not sure how that was going to work. Kinda hard on my stuff. But again, amazed at how well this performed. Didn't even know it off it's rail!! Buy this Red Dot folks, it works.

I always discuss the feel of quality with vortex. This guy is nearly impossible to scratch. Takes possibly at max one minute to sight in, and is also one solid piece of Aircraft Aluminum. When it comes to mounting, there are no set backs. If it has a rail, it mounts. You can even purchase a 45 degree mount for your rifles, or fit it on nearly any pistol. A massive wide view, XR lens coating, and a 3 or 6 MOA dot make for consistent, accurate shot all the time. Phenomenal, professional piece that only ways 2.5 ounces! Finally, if it breaks or has issues Vortex and there unmatched warranty will fix it or replace it. No matter how the damage happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by L2986 Great DOT for your 3-Gun Open Class Shotgun
I'm running the Razor 6 MOA dot on my 3-Gun Shotgun and Pistol both. I went through a lot of dots on my shotgun before I found the first to handle the abuse of a season of 3-Gun open class shotgun. The Vortex Razor fits the bill and the 6 MOA dot is perfect for the shotgun allowing me to pick this dot size up the fastest of the two dot sizes. After finding success with the Razor on my shotgun I put one on the slide of the new Glock open pistol I built for 3-gun. I've always stayed away from slide mounted dots on pistols because I hadn't found one that could take the beating until I found the Razor. While Ideal on my Glock slide shooting minor loads, I have decided to have my gunsmith build a custom mount so I can start running a Razor on my USPSA open class pistol running major power factor loads. So far the Razor is holding up here too.
