The Vortex® Razor® HD Angled Spotting Scope features a triplet apochromatic lens system delivering high-definition views across the entire field of view—no color fringing or degradation of resolution at long viewing distances. High-density extra-low dispersion glass delivers the ultimate in resolution and color fidelity, resulting in true High Definition images. XR anti-reflective coatings, fully multicoated on all air-to-glass lens surfaces, increase light transmission for maximum brightness. Angled design allows a lower mounting height, maximizing stability in wind and adding comfort for extended glassing. 100% waterproof; porro prism; argon purged and fogproof; sheathed with ArmorTek for protection from scratches, oil, and dirt.

When I seen that Vortex was bringing a new spotting scope the market a couple of years ago, I was very interested in trying the Razor HD. I was able to get on a waiting list with Local Utah Company VIP Optics. On one of the first trips in the field with my new Razor HD, I was able to spot a bull on the opposing ridge. The next day my Uncle was able to harvest the 380 Inch San Juan Bull. Over the next year or two my scope had been very "Used and Abused", I sent it in back to Vortex and to my surprise, I had to scope back in a couple of weeks and looked just like new. It didn't take me long to expand my collection of Vortex Products, topping my Gunwerks rifle with the Viper HS scope, pairing with the Vipers HD Binos and Rangfinder. Converting many family and friends to Vortex Customers, I can say that these are some the best valued products I've enjoyed using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dcoutur31141 Great spotting scope for packing
Bought this last year in August and have used it for archery and rifle season. Great optics ,compact ,light, fits great in your pack. I like the angle eye piece because you can get by with a shorter tripod so you can get by with less weight. Excellent product and reasonable price.

I bought this scope specifically for watching and counting shorebirds at long distances, its such a great scope I ended up using it for much more, looking at goat on the mountains, birds and bears. Its durable, crystal clear, and I love the zoom feature. I also got a neoprene sleeve to help protect it from the harsh marine climate I use it in. I highly recommend this scope.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Coloradohunter Best Scope for the Money
I purchased the Razor HD 16-48x65 scope for my scouting trips. Wasn't disappointed! Scope is very clear and brings in light nicely. Plus, the unconditional warranty that Vortex provides makes the decision easier when comparing to other products. I still have not used this scope to its full potential. Vortex makes such great compact Binos which makes it hard to justify the extra weight in my backpacking trips.
