Vortex Razor HD Angled Spotting Scope
I have owned this scope for about 9 months; it replaced my first scope the Vortex Nomad and I have love it. The image is sharp and clear. It is a bit heavy; I wish it were lighter for packing. When I bought it the smaller versions were not available but even if they were I doubt I would have bought them. I like the larger objective for more light gathering. I love the fine and course focus nobs. I am excited to use it this year while hunting. There are higher quality optics out there for 3 times the price but I can't afford them. I don't think you can beat them for the money. I am sold on Vortex products. Not to mention their unbeatable customer service. Vortex is all I buy!

My dad bought this scope this year, i run off with it every chance i get. I have watched deer after sunset on the hills above my house. I have watched fire fighters work a fire across the valley, never has the quality of the picture suffered from anything other than heat waves. The construction tough, the glass is crystal clear and the warranty is amazing. My complaint, if i were to have one, would be that it is heavy. But is more a result in product choice than anything. I probably wouldn't haul this into the back country with me not that it would matter, because i could see it better with this anyway.

Best spotting scope I have ever used.
I bought this last year before hunting season started. I have guided whitetail and turkey hunts in Kansas and Oklahoma for several years and the spotting scope I had was just not cutting it. Also I am spending more time chasing elk and mule deer in the mountains and I needed a quality spotting scope that would not tire my eye out after long sets. Both the quality of optics and the low light capabilities of this spotting scope blows away anything I have ever used and one of the other deer guides has the nice Swarovski spotting scope. Tried it and I would not trade mine for his. Awesome spotting scope!

I have owned the Razor 85mm angled spotter for about a year now, and am very impressed with the clarity. The zoom lens allows me to see bullet holes in paper at three hundred yards, which simply wasn't possible with my older "brand X" unit. A few months ago I purchased the 30x eyepiece with MOA reticle , (bullet holes in paper aren't visible, but bullet splash on steel shows up all the way out to 640 yards) which makes calling corrections much easier for those longer shots, when used in conjunction with my Viper HSLR FFP riflescope. Most recently I added the camera adapter, and have some great video of trace arcing into steel at longer ranges- more fun than you should be allowed to have.
