I have the 3-9x40 v-plex mounted on my Ruger American 30.06 and have run 60+ rounds (150-180 grain) without any issues. Clear, bright, accurate glass. Picture is a grouping @100 yards by my daughter (first time shooter, first three shots).

bought this scope for my 7 year old nephew's .243. he is going to hunt with us this year. mounted the scope, got it level and went to range. first 7-8 shots worked well. continued to zero in with reduced loads and notice cross hairs in scope were no longer level. checked level of scope and discovered cross hairs had shifted inside scope. taking back to store. will get Nikon scope.
