Vortex Compact Diamondback Binoculars - Roof Prism
So far above the others...
I've been using Vortex Diamondback 10x28 binos year round for years. I can't even put into words how much better they are than any other brand. They optics are crystal clear with no distortion. The craftmanship is solid and rugged to take on being in the field. These fit great in the hand(s) yet are still small and light enough to comfortably pack in a cargo pants pocket. They only possible drawback is at dusk and dawn, but I don't know anyone who uses 28's for those times a day, so as you know they're not the right tool for "that" job. Whatever you spend it is worth it, with a top notch lifetime guaranty. These are superior to any binos under $200 and many, many above that. Buy with confidence.

Perfect compact Binos
These are perfect clear compact binoculars that are light and easy to carry. You hardly feel them, but when you need them you are happy that you have something this powerful in your pocket.

Clear, bright and compact
This little binocular is the first serious one I ever had. It is clear, bright and compact. I can wear my eyeglasses while using it.
Only one concern is it marked as "Hurricane 10x28" (which doesn't exist base on Vortex's website) on my binocular nob, but it has same shape and grip pattern as Diamondback (except it is in tan color). Could this be a pre-production model, or some one made a mistake.
Bottom line is this is a great binocular, and I love it. Because of that and the VIP Warranty, I have purchased a lot of other products from Vortex.

Good binocs for the money!
Okay so I bought these for those times I am wanting to lighten the load as much as possible. While I don't think they are the best on the market in the compact binocular market they also don't cost what the others do. They are better than the majority on the market both in clarity and quality. They are well built product with a warranty that is a no brainer. I would suggest anyone wanting a quality compact binocular go take a good look at these.
