This little binocular is the first serious one I ever had. It is clear, bright and compact. I can wear my eyeglasses while using it.
Only one concern is it marked as "Hurricane 10x28" (which doesn't exist base on Vortex's website) on my binocular nob, but it has same shape and grip pattern as Diamondback (except it is in tan color). Could this be a pre-production model, or some one made a mistake.
Bottom line is this is a great binocular, and I love it. Because of that and the VIP Warranty, I have purchased a lot of other products from Vortex.

After buying many pairs of small binoculars only to throw away after a couple of hunts or rugged uses. I have found a pair that should be my last. I bought the 8x28 and they are as clear as can be. Better than my $600 Leupold. They are light enough to carry anywhere and small enough also. The 28mm makes a huge difference along with the coated lenses. The detail and contrast because of the clarity is crazy for glass this cheap. But, considering the price for a small pair of Binoculars its not that cheap when everyone else offering this size is $29-$99. But, they are worth every penny. Unconditional lifetime warranty too, just don't purposely destroy them and tell them or lose them and you will have them forever. Case, strap and lens covers for both ends included.

I received these as a birthday present last year, compared to my fathers $150 bushnells these provide better clarity and easier to focus than his. If there was anything I wished i had done was get the x32 for a bigger field of view.

This year was the first full year of use I put my Diamondback 10x28 binoculars through, and they never let me down. Clear and bright images, small and compact for treestand, ground blind, or even in the pack for hiking, and backed by the Vortex industry leading warranty. Best value per dollar I've ever spent on optics. They performed great for a small binocular for spotting game and they go with me anywhere I need a small, light optic.
