With the size limits and seasons for certain fish in Florida you should have one of these items.
If you pull up a fish from the bottom over 30ft out of season, when you release it, it will die from the bladder air expansion unless you relieve the pressure.
Florida law requires you to have one of these for bottom fishing so that the release does not kill the fish.
I used to use a hypodermic needle years ago for catching tropical fish below 30ft. This tool is much better and safer.
