I have had these boots for 2.5 years now, and I love them. They are my favorite shoes, actually. I have extremely wide feet, and these are simply fantastic in the wide.
The shoe laces are not the best, they split while I was on the trail, but they were easily replaced.
I will be honest, I did not take the best care of them, and the leather dried, and part of them next to the rubber slightly cracked. They are still waterproof as of two days ago, when I was standing in about 4 inches of water. I have washed them and waterproofed them since.
Also, one of my first hikes with them I removed them for a river crossing. Foolishly, I dropped them into the river. I poured the water out of them, and in 15 minutes they were dry.
Bravo Vasque! These were so great, my younger brother bought a pair.

So far so good. The boots are light weight and fit good. They are a little big in the toes, but I think when I go to the grand canyon in December I will have bigger socks.

The shoes I ordered were extra wide and the toes are still too narrow and absolutely killed my feet and pinched my toes and rubbed my feet raw.
