Artfully crafted in Vermont, Vanguard rods have actions and tapers specifically designed for each model, and the premium components consider function and form. Matched with the Ross Evolution LT reel —a machined masterpiece that is one of the lightest, most precise fishing tools ever built—you get a sublime outfit that will elevate your fly fishing to places you’ve only dreamt of. Designed for fresh, warm, and salt water, the Evolution LT features a fully machined, 6061-T6 one-piece frame and one-piece spool. Metal is taken from where it’s not needed by skeletonizing the spool and frame, and added back to the components—with no measurable weight increase. This reel is equipped with a triple-redundancy, maintenance-free Teflon® impregnated Delrin® 500AF drag system.

Outfits include rod, reel, Scientific Anglers® GPX fly line, backing, and leader.
