Van Staal® Titanium Pliers - 6'' or 7''
10 oz. Titanium?
I just received it... I have small Rapala scissors designed for braided line which work much better... But first impression: weight. I expected it to be much lighter than my existing cheap Pliers... Box says that 6'' is 5.5 oz and "needle nose"... Unfortunately we (online buyers) can only guess because $3xx price does not include good online descriptions - images, dimensions, weight... Anyway, 7'' which I ordered seems to be good for twenty pounds cats, but not so got to attach it to PFD... Heavy... Especially if you are to brown trout etc... Next time, please, post exact pictures and dimensions, what is "needle nose" indeed and why it is twice lighter? And why titanium is so heavy?

I was looking for something to replace the endless stream of rusty pliers. I umm'd and rrr'd about whether to purchase the same old cheapies, some stainless or lash out on titanium pliers. I'm glad I finally talked myself into buying a 6" set. Great pliers, light, strong, great jaws, no rusting. I like this size pliers but I know mates who fish the same as I do would get the next size up. Definately replace them when my son or daughter "inherit" these ones.
Do yourself or a loved one a favour and buy them.

I WAS SEARCHING FOR THE LAST SET OF PLIERS I WOULD NEED, I FOUND THEM. THE LINE CUTTERS WITH THE GUIDE WORK GREAT, THE FIT OF THE PLIERS ARE REALLY COMFORTABLE. WORTH EVERY PENNY.
