Bad Hookups This hook is sharp, but it is impossible to catch any fish! The weed guard is not flexible at all. I was fishing some flooded brush with a Bass Pro Stick-O worm and a good sized fish (maybe over 5 lbs) was lost because the weed guard did not move and kept the hook covered. July 24, 2014
Bad weedguard Weedguard is too stiff and tends to bend when fished in thick cover. Then it's useless. Anyone who thinks this weedguard is great hasn't given it a good test in serious cover. Look at the Gammy weedless finesse for a much better option June 27, 2014
Priceless Best weedless hook I've ever used for wacky rigging. I suggest the 1/0 for 3"- 5" senko type worms. No way to prevent fine vegetation (hair algae) from getting caught on the eyelet area of the hook, but definitely stops you from getting caught up on heavy vegetation. Have not had an issue with hookset. Weedguard is extremely flexible and actually helps hold the hook in the fishes mouth once it's set!!! I had more problems getting th ehook out of the fishes mouth than I did getting caught up in vegetation. June 7, 2014
