i fish the coast 2 to 5 times a year mostly for bull reds and sharks ....this is a great hook for peir or boat in saltwater . it has a good gap and sharp point...
it is a heavy wire hook, strong enough to use the leader to lift a bull red up on to the pier without straiting out..great price for the 25 count box ..
use the 10/0 size for bull reds an med. size sharks upto 60lbs.
i wish they had a 12/0 and a 16/0 for heavy shark fishing...

we use these hooks in saltwater surf fishing and they work great. the only draw back is that you might want to carry a hook sharpener or file, after a few fish you loose the point.
