I purchased this for a 2010 Nissan Xterra. It currently has to be installed covering the shoulder belt housing for the middle back seat. Also, the side tubing slides too easily. I had to tape them in place in order for them not to slide into the side windows. Relatively cheap price but not worth $40 to $50.

The pet barrier fits nicely in our 2009 Santa Fe.
It was easy to install and works well. It was also quite a bit cheaper than most pet barriers I looked at. GOOD DEAL!

The pet barrier is a very good product. It has really saved my seats from muddy paw prints this duck season. My lab had a horribly problem of staying in the back when i wasn't around and i ended up getting a really nasty seat. So the pet barrier really saved my tushy.

I am just wondering if I need to purchase the extension kit along with the pet barrier. I would be using the back of a seat, but the description seemed a little unclear.Answers

FYI- per below messages the extension kit is not include. The item number is 38-610-008-80. ThanksA:Â
If the back seat is down, you probably will need the extension kit. If up you probably will not need it.A:Â
