Wanted a comfortable pair of early season pants. Decided to buy these and they are great!. Comfortable during early NC archer season when it's 90 degrees and 90% humidity.

Early season deer hunting in NC means temps in the mid to high 80s. Bought this for the ScentLok advantage and so far, it's lived up to it's advertising. Comfortable, lightweight, and with deer downwind at 8 yards, it works!"

These pants are true to size. Probably the best light weight set of pants I've ever owned. They are built great.
I've been rained on, walked trough swamp, and have been in the mud and these pants held up great! Also, after the rain they dry up quickly.
I hunt in Florida most of the time during archery season and these pants kept me cool considering archery seaon here in Florida is 90 plus degrees and high humidity. I am buying a second pair for when my first pair get worn out.

Got these for an Archery Elk hunt in Northern New Mexico they are way quite and comfortable. Wore a scent lock light long john under them and stayed pleanty warm with the low temps down in the low 40's upper 30's. Will be getting a few more pairs well as soon as the wife allows that is.

They are water resistent not waterproof. They will hold up nice in a light rain not a heavy downpour.Details:
I have been trying to do away with these bulky bibs so I came across these. I use Scent block expedition weight base layers...Will these be warm enough for those long sits in Michigan? Temps anywhere from 30s-High teens?Answers
A:
I use these in Florida weather and they are not too hot. I don't think they will hold up to good in 30 degree weather they dont't have much insulation. For that kind of weather you should consider the regular ridge reaper pant.A:
i wore just a light scent control long john and stayed way warm.A:
The early season pants won't be warm enough if sitting in temps below 30. The regular Ridge Reapers might be but the Ridge Reaper line was designed for the hunter on the move. not a lot of insulation for those cold stationary days. The outer layer of the Ridge Reaper seems to soak up water where the early season does not.A:
No they are made for early season months of sept october time frame. I also hunt in Upper michigan and tried this with base layer and they were a bit chilly1 of 1
