It's not a very thick sock, but it does have some nice features. They stay up very well, and my calves are very large. The arches are tight enough that they provide real support. Don't expect them to be warm when it gets below zero, they just aren't thick enough.

I'm not the type that spend this much money on socks, but i was tired of my feet getting cold when sitting in the cold. I thought i was getting a good sock for the cold but that wasn't the case. My feet got just as cold as wearing plane cotton socks. I wasn't expecting to go out in 5 and 10 degree weather with these socks the coldest iv been in so far is around 30 degrees. I expected much better from under armor. For those who just like these types of socks they are comfortable but they run a size or 2 small i usually wear a large and followed others reviews and got a xl. They are still a little small. Overall im not happy with these socks for hunting.

These socks do very well in their intended enviroment. They do not cause your feet to start sweating with moderate activity and keep them warm when sitting for a period of time. Not great for frigid days but that is not what they were made to do.
