Under Armour® ColdGear® Capture OTC Socks for Men
Not Exactly Heavy Duty
I bought these for hunting and skiing. I washed them twice before going skiing. They fail miserably for skiing . They really stretch when getting into a ski boot, putting the heal clear past your ankle and they wrinkle up, making the boot uncomfortable. After 30 minutes of rearranging and adjusting, I finally got one boot comfortable.
As for hunting, they are fair for stationary hunting such as a blind or stand, but you really don't want to walk any distance with these socks. I have Browning 1,000 gram ankle fit boots for cold weather hunting and the socks move around too much in these boots. They seem to work O.K. in the uninsulated rubber muck boots I use for cleaning and processing.
On the plus side, they wick moisture very well, no issue there.

Dad says great
These socks are very warm and comfortable. Dad is 86 and still works outside on occasion. I know he will do it in the cold or the heat, so these socks are perfect for a Texas cold front. He said they are easy to put on and keep his legs and feet very warm.

Tall / Warm and Stay up
Was not to sure when I first received these socks, little fuzzies all over the sock. I have worn these socks out steelhead fishing more than a dozen times and love them. They are my new favorite socks. Very warm and go up to my knees and stay there. Got them on sale for half price to boot.

I ordered these because I am constantly cold and my feet are never warm. These socks keep my feet warm and they never feel wet or sweaty. They are perfect for every day wear. I am going to try wearing them running this week when the temp drops to 9 degrees!
