When moving, yes keeps you warm (mind you I think I would have been warm without them while moving too). But when sitting, at just freezing temperatures, takes 20 minutes to feel the cold. Had three layers on top, then insulated bibs, and an insulated jacket. For hunting, these are a waste of money.

This is great for while moving. Sitting in the treestand, was just like wearing any other base layer.The treestand version is thicker material, so should insulate better.
