I hardly ever write reviews. I have a Bantam 3 and this seat base needed modification before I could make it work. My boat is a 1995 model. I had to bend the frame together by almost an inch. Also the welds were terrible. There was so much overhang on the joints that I had to grind off the excess so that the aluminum would not dig into the plastic sides of my boat. If I didn't do this, my boat would have been punctured at the rails after a couple of uses. Poor construction and not worth the 33 bucks.

I saw these seat frames on a boat while at Bass Pro. I had just purchased a usedSea Eagle Foldcat 375 that came with pedestals for the seats. After sitting on them, I found there was too much play and I did not feel secure. (I'm a big guy, 6'4 and 235 lbs) I ordered the frames and purchased some Bass Pro highback seats to go with them. This configuration is as stable as sitting at my kitchen table. I now have the stability I want and they are extremely comfortable. Could be an option for any boat.

I got a used boat that didn't come with seats. So i order one to try and it works great. So I order anther one too. Price was good too.
