Rated 4 out of 5 by Secret Weapon I was reluctant to try these simply because the tail seemed a little too simple with not enough action. To my suprise, I was able to use these on a lake in Northeast Texas during the winter time to catch some huge deep water Crappie. The Chartreuse/Tomato worked best for me from December to February, but I have never been sucessful with it except for on this deep, clear water lake. March 23, 2008
