Built light for easy casting and all-day fishing. High-strength tubular fiberglass is ideal for pulling slabs out of heavy cover. Features smooth ceramic guides for great casting performance, and easy-grip foam handles with screw-down reel seats. Incredible balance makes it easy to set the hook from any angle. Light actions help you detect even the lightest strikes. Plus they're extremely affordable so you can rig up two or three to match every fishing situation. Measurements on blank gives a quick reference for length limits up to 12".
Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod Outstanding sensitivity, good backbone. When coupled with the UB35, its an excellent panfishing set up. With more power than a true ultralight, it handles the unexpected larger bass or catfish with no problems. Great rod at an affordable price, I have 6! June 29, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rod I love this rod for my close face Zebco Reels. At 6'-6 long it makes it excellant for river fishing from high banks & long enough to really "set the hook". A solid rod for any type of fishing in my opinion that's why I purchased the third one to replace all the ones that I have. March 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good rod Overall good rod for price. I put a Zebco 22 on it and took it out crappie fishing and ended up catching a pound and a half crappie. Good stiff rod for the crappie/perch fisherman. August 23, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Is not a light action rod. This rod is definately not what I would call light action. I say medium action. I guess it's an ok rod, just not as light as I wanted. I highly recommend Bass Pro's light action Power Plus rod for $20. It's well worth the extra $5. June 17, 2012

I don't think so. This pole is made to be used with a hook, line, and cork...like cane pole fishing.
