Rated 5 out of 5 by KevinO All around great lure
Does well for casting and fishing in streams and creeks. I've had bluegill, trout, and bass all take this lure. You can buzz it across the surface, twitch it on top, let it sink and reel it in under water. The durabilityis preety good. I like reading reviews and I hope i've helped someone else with this. I highly recommend this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by blackangus they do NOT float
I should have know better, but I assumed a cricket would float- wrong. The hook was to big for the lure, and the plastic stiff.

Have used the black & green crickets on two occasions...once when the barometric pressure was messed up and nothing was biting....and ....once when the fish were biting on live crickets but not on the black ones (did not try the green ones on this occasion). I'm still optimistic and will continue to use these items. Have not purchased any brown crickets yet. Have not tried using bait scents on them either.

no, you would use as it comes in the package.A:
Have used it with a bobber without a splitshot because it'll sink slower. Have not tried it without a bobber and splitshot, but will next occasion I fish.Top 10 Contributor

no no no....ur misunderstood these are best used just tied on with nothing else with light tackle such as ultalight rod and reel and 2 to 6 lb lineA:
I use them bare, u don't need anything else. the fish like the slow falling action of the bait.Top 50 Contributor

I dont use a bobber, split shot would be the best bet here. I have also switched the hook out for a jig headTop 1000 Contributor

I've always fished it weightless, or with as tiny a split shot I can get away with for fast moving water- no float.1 of 1
