Uncle Buck's Crappie Spinning Rod
This rod would be great for a kid just starting to fish. It is very light weight and have a handle that isjust the right leight. Good for pan fish.

great panfish rod
I like this rod so much that I bought a few extra for my pan fishing buddies and they loved it. At this price you could buy them all day long for presents or for charity. All my buddies and I agreed that this a great rod. Just wish the 6 footer was a one piece instead of a two piece.

Nice rod for the money
I've used this rod for 4 trips so far and caught a number of crappie. It's light and the bigger size crappie are fun to fight on this rod. When i purchased this rod it was on sale for 9.99, at that price it's hard to complain. I would have given this 5 stars, the only real problem i have found so far was when i put my reel in the plastic seat and screwed it down, the seat started to crack a tiny bit at the top. It's nothing major and does not affect performance however and if thats the worse that happens to a 10 dollar rod i will be happy.

Lasted for 6 casts
Had this rod paired with the BPS Pro Qualifier PQ10 with 6# line. Was casting a microlite spinnerbait and the rod broke after 6 casts. It snapped about 12 inches from the tip DURING the cast, never got a chance to land a fish. Just glad I didn't lose my lure in the process. Disappointed but that's what I get for trying to "get by" with a cheap rod. Replaced it with a UglyStik GX2 and couldn't be happier. I recommend not skimping on the rod, pay more for a better quality rod and save time and money in the long run.
