Rated 4 out of 5 by Love these! I love these when the crickets start chirping in late summer! Just let one of these go with currant next to the bank for hungry trout! I have caught many this way! I like the back ones better, although the lighter colored ones kinda look like grasshoppers! Not sure what the fish think they are, but they work! November 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Uncle Buck's® Panfish Creatures - Crickets Review Thought this bait would have performed better for us. Would watch otherwise eager panfish swim up to it and quickly dismiss it. Time of day could have been a factor that limited the fish's interest. August 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by OK Kind of a waste of money. Just go find some grasshoppers yourself. These things don't even float on the surface July 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bomb Crickets!!!!!! these things are incredible!!!!! They catch the Breamzillas!!!!! If you have absolutely no patients at all, like me!!! Run and gun boat docks with these things!!! Bream absolutely crush these things!!! 4lb test or even 2lb test is great, with a whippy ultralight rod, you can throw these things a mile!! I also rig them on a 1/32 ounce jig head!! Love em, highly recommend them!!! Bream slayers is what they should be called!!!!!! June 13, 2013

Its supposed to be used without a bobber. That said, I used it without a bobber with zero success. My two young boys used it with a bobber and had some (but very limited) success.

Have used it with a bobber without a splitshot because it'll sink slower. Have not tried it without a bobber and splitshot, but will next occasion I fish.

I dont use a bobber, split shot would be the best bet here. I have also switched the hook out for a jig head

I've always fished it weightless, or with as tiny a split shot I can get away with for fast moving water- no float.
