This is my favorite batter. unfortunately I received two jars that evidently had got some moisture in them and was the consistency of bb's. I only gave it a bad review because i could find no where else to complain and the nearest store is an hour away. ....BTW I am ordering more because it is amazing.

Uncle Buck's Original Fish Batter is awesome. I live in Colorado and just went ice-fishing last weekend. I caught some nice Trout, decided to filet one and i brought it home. The Batter gives you three ideas on how to cook the fish, and i chose to deep-fry mine. Once i got it all coated, slapped it in the oil, and let it sit on the grill for a few minutes, it had a lovely golden-brown look to it, and it tasted even better. Most fish i've had have a really strong fish taste to them, but Uncle Buck's Original Fish Batter made it taste perfect. The Batter didn't drown out the taste of the fish, but it wasn't "flavorless" either. It made the fish perfect. All in all, i would definitely recommend buying this, as it is perfect for whatever you catch. Tight lines!
