Good lure This is a nice lure. It catches panfish well. However panfish sometimes swallow this lure, and the bait comes off the hook. I like this lure, but it is not perfect. It is very good for panfish, and BPS is the only place that holds cricket lures. February 29, 2008
great lure i used this lure in west virgina at the wiilams river i didnt think it would workbut i hooked a huge rainbow trout it also works great for bass the one setback is it snags easy.i love this lure! October 28, 2007

Thanks uncle buck Great lure for sunnys. I love this little lure. Great value also. All you have to do is cast it where sunnys are and let it drop. If there are big sunnys there, you will catch big sunnys. I haven't had a bass hit this lure, but I'm pretty confindent one will. I caught a warmouth off of uncle bucks cricket also. Great lure for sunfish. August 7, 2007

Have used it with a bobber without a splitshot because it'll sink slower. Have not tried it without a bobber and splitshot, but will next occasion I fish.

I dont use a bobber, split shot would be the best bet here. I have also switched the hook out for a jig head

I've always fished it weightless, or with as tiny a split shot I can get away with for fast moving water- no float.
