Uncle Buck's® Deluxe Crappie Pole
Telescopic poles give you the length to pitch into heavy cover for big slabs. High-strength tubular fiberglass construction gives plenty of raw backbone but is light and sensitive enough to feel subtle strikes. Also features textured grip, fluorescent tip, lock-down reel seats, stainless steel guides with durable ceramic inserts, and measurements on blank for instant length identification up to 12". Line weight: 4-10 lbs.

I’ve read about dapping and can’t wait to try taking trout with the 16 ft model that came well packaged in excellent condition. After looking at it up close and comparing it to photos of dapping rods from the U.K., this rod looks like it will fill the bill at a fraction of the cost. The quality of construction exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. This model comes in 5 sections with a guide firmly attached at the end of each. The reel mounts are well constructed, and turn smoothly with plenty of adjustment to firmly hold any spinning reel. And, each telescopic piece locks smoothly into place. A solid well engineered rod.

This pole is very sensitive and still has plenty of backbone. If you love to catch crappie use this with a verticle jigging technique.I was very pleased with the looks and feel of this pole.

This product is durable and light weight the only drawback is the three eyelets. Four eyelets would make this product perfect for panfishing.
The lack of a forth eyelet allows the line to stick to the rod particularly in the rain, this makes it difficult to tightline fish with jigs.

yes, I did , have for years on similar poles but you cannot use it to cast accurately, just line storage and increases drift distanceIf you want it for casting, get a 7 or 8 ft light rod

I have the 13 foot, it has 3. Not a lot but works well enough. More would interfere with the unit collapsing for storage.Top 250 Contributor
