Built light for easy casting and all-day fishing. High-strength tubular fiberglass is ideal for pulling slabs out of heavy cover. The Uncle Buck's® Crappie Casting Rod features smooth ceramic guides for great casting performance, and easy-grip foam handles with screw-down reel seats. Incredible balance makes it easy to set the hook from any angle. Light actions help you detect even the lightest strikes. Plus they're extremely affordable so you can rig up two or three to match every fishing situation. Measurements on blank gives a quick reference for length limits up to 12".

Great Crappie rod !!! Hi. I like the crappie rods for the sensitivity. This is an awesome rod. I like to fish without bobbers a lot , so you have to feel the bite . I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this rod , even the pros ! Thanks for selling such an awesome rod ! Chris April 17, 2012
great product I purchased two of the 6'6" rods. very well made. the sensitivity is better than I thought it would be. I am going to buy two longer ones also. the only thing I don't like is they don't have a hook keeper on them. if they did it would be a 5 star product. April 22, 2010
Amazing rod I bought this, paired it with the bass pro tiny light spinning reel and i wouldn't trade it for anything more or less exspensive, caught plenty of bluegill and bass on it, has good backbone without sacrificing flexability- great buy May 5, 2010
Is not a light action rod. This rod is definately not what I would call light action. I say medium action. I guess it's an ok rod, just not as light as I wanted. I highly recommend Bass Pro's light action Power Plus rod for $20. It's well worth the extra $5. June 17, 2012

I don't think so. This pole is made to be used with a hook, line, and cork...like cane pole fishing.

Absolutely. I have used an Ambassador 5000 on it catching White Trout and bait fish(croaker, pin fish, even small Hard Tails).
