Built light for easy casting and all-day fishing. High-strength tubular fiberglass is ideal for pulling slabs out of heavy cover. Features smooth ceramic guides for great casting performance, and easy-grip foam handles with screw-down reel seats. Incredible balance makes it easy to set the hook from any angle. Light actions help you detect even the lightest strikes. Plus they're extremely affordable so you can rig up two or three to match every fishing situation. Measurements on blank gives a quick reference for length limits up to 12".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tough and Sensitive I bought this rod for my wife. In the past she had trouble felling bites with an Ugly Stick. She has also broken other high dollar rods in the past. I bought this rod on sale and couldn't be happier. The bluegill bite was light on a recent trip to Arkansas, and she consistently pulled more fish into the boat than the rest of us. When I asked her how, she said she had a better feel with this rod. This is a comparison to her Ugly Stick, an Abu Garcia Vendetta(which she broke), and my Falcon Low Rider XG. She also hooked some small bass and had no problems getting them to the boat. This rod has great sensitivity and enough backbone for most general fishing. June 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Crappie rod !!! Hi. I like the crappie rods for the sensitivity. This is an awesome rod. I like to fish without bobbers a lot , so you have to feel the bite . I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this rod , even the pros ! Thanks for selling such an awesome rod ! Chris April 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not for the Uncle Buck's Reel I purchased the 6" 2 piece. This is not an ultralight. I would consider it Medium Fast. Far too large for the Uncle Buck's reel and both BPS Crappie Maxx reals. 4 stars for the quality you receive at the price. Poor description. July 8, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great for fast fishing this is good when your using spinnerbaits and in line spinnerbaits. June 20, 2011

I don't think so. This pole is made to be used with a hook, line, and cork...like cane pole fishing.
