The Umarex Octane Air Rifle has a high-tech, ReAxis (reverse-axis gas piston) system that provides a 5 percent velocity increase. This .177 caliber beauty uses a sealed, secure cylinder of nitrogen gas to propel pellets at speeds up to 1,450 feet per second. Its break-barrel action has a specially-designed SilencAir system that reduces downrange noise. Features include a convenient all-weather stock, so you can take it out even in inclement weather. There’s also an adjustable 2-stage trigger, fiber optic sights and a 3-9x40 scope with a scope mount.

great air rifle This is a very powerful and accurate air rifle. I like the fiber optic sights and it has a very nice scope. It has a noise suppressor but still makes a little noise because it shoots faster than the speed of sound. This is not a toy. It is a very serious weapon. January 28, 2015
