I am running these boots on Two of the hardest hunted, hardest working German Shorthairs, and these are the only boots I have been able to keep on my dogs. You need to make sure you fit these so they come all the way up just below the dew claw pad on the leg. Also, need to make sure the velcro straps are real snug on the dogs legs. It is very difficult to overtighten these, so snug them up well! The velcro closure straps have taken a beating in the briars, but these boots protect the feet well, and do stay on my Shorthairs well, considering how hard they run, with nothing they will not go through to get on birds!

Advertised as "Boots that stay on". Even with duct tape over the straps my setter came out of the tag alders with three boots. I measured her feet as the directions said at least three times. The width was good but the length seemed short. If your dog has skinny/long feet you may have problems. Ultra Paws charged me $10+shipping for a replacement boot. They are well made and look very rugged and I want to like them but right now I'm not sold.
