Ultimate Swivel Tree Seat
Dangerous & Very Noisy
While the concept is great, the implementation is just plan POOR! The seat can not be tightly secured to a tree because no matter how hard one pulls on the strap end, it can not be adequately tightened to prevent the top of the vertical bar from pulling away from the tree. This causes the seat to want to pivot at the bottom cam point. In turn if one shifts their weight while sitting on it, the seat has a tendency to want to rotate clockwise or counter clockwise. It’s also VERY noisy as the belt stretches under one’s weight – didn’t take much down word pressure (even just pressing down on it with my hands) to see these problems result from the manufacturer using synch buckle. It would benefit greatly from a ratchet strap buckle. Heck it might even work if it had one.
The instructions on the seat bottom say: “If the seat becomes loose, to raise it up and retighten the belt and then to lower it again.” With both feet on the ground, I tried to resolve this problem at least 15 to 20 times by repeatedly raising the seat and pulling on the belt as hard as I could, indeed even trying to jerk it tighter multiple times, but no matter how hard I tried, I just could not keep the attachment bar secured to the tree nor could I eliminate the stretching noise the belt made.
I immediately returned my purchase after trying it out at home. It was not worth the long round trip drive to purchase and then return it, especially at today’s high gasoline prices. So save your time, money and frustration. If you’re a serious hunter, avoid buying this one or you’ll be sorely disappointed.

Ultimate Swivel Seat
I bought this to go along with my platform treestand. This is a nice, sturdy, and comfortable seat to sat on. The swivel feature is good for bow hunters and is quiet. It also folds up nicely when you don't need it. I would recomend an additional ratchet strap over the mount bar when attaching the seat to the tree for extra support, and the seat then becomes very sturdy. In my opinion, it is worth the money.

Works for me
I would recommend this product because I've had good results with it. I understand the issue the previous writer talks about but, if you do set the seat higher and retighten it your good to go. Last year I shot my biggest buck yet while sitting on it. It's quiet and comfortable. It is rated for 250lbs. This may have been this persons issue. Good luck hunting!!

I have to say I really like this seat. Makes for a more comfortable hunt especially when u know your coming back te next day, Seat is already there!!! It's relatively quite. The seat cushion could be a little better. No problem sitting for 2 hours.
The only problem is the strap that goes around the tree is not stiff enough. The strap stretches too much and the top of the support bar comes forward and the seat angles down. The buckle just can't cinch it down enough. I had to use a ratch strap on the top if the support pole. Once I cinched it down with my strap the hunt was on!!!!
