We bought this seat for our 6 and 3 yr old but we ended up using it for adults also and it is very sturdy, and comfortable as well. The price is great and the quality is top notch!

I just bought a used Polaris Ranger. I have kids, so I needed a few extra seats for the bed. I bought and installed the rumble seat b/c it looked like a great idea. However, the rumble seat is made very lightly and the base-mount to the bed should have been made with better support with wider rails and additional lag-bolt mounts to SECURE it to the bed so it would never be a concern. It comes with two straps to secure it from falling forward. The powder coating is VERY light, so it scratches EASY. If I had to do it over again-I would buy a backseat from a Jeep Wrangler and mount IT to the bed. Lower profile plus it would be more secure.

Yes-make sure you pop the bed up and release the spring on the bed to measure and drill holes. Make sure you follow your lines to make sure that you won't hit anything like steel. I had to remove the heat shield from the muffler, that is screwed into the underside of the bed.Answers
